We are proud of our "legacy of giving," supporting 30+ local charities devoted to helping women and children. This is a key part of our commitment to showing God's compassion locally. We are grateful for the support we receive for our multiple fundraisers each year.
Founded in 1988, the Big Canoe Chapel Women’s Guild, now the Women’s Fellowship, has held fundraisers to support 30+ local charities devoted to helping women and children in need in north Georgia. Our efforts over the years have generated over $2 million dollars which gets distributed to these wonderful organizations. We are grateful to the residents of Big Canoe who continue to support these fundraisers year after year. In addition to our fundraising events, individuals/businesses have the opportunity to become one of our valued Sponsors. Our Sponsorship Campaign provides different levels of sponsorships allowing individuals and businesses to participate in our efforts. We recognize our sponsors at our various events as their contributions are vital to our purpose. Direct questions to Debbie Jones, 2025 Vice President of Charitable Giving and Sponsorships, at WomensFellowship@bigcanoechapel.org.
Throughout the year, we provide many opportunities to grow spiritually. Dynamic Bible studies and our popular Fall Retreat offer space for members and guests to deepen their faith journey together.
Outreach programs of the Women’s Fellowship give members numerous opportunities to volunteer in our community.
