Stewardship
Dear Friends,
Generosity is a marker of Christian maturity. In a world focused on acquisition and selfishness, the gospel calls us
to be lavish contributors. Generosity is not a specific action, so much as it is a way of life. At Big Canoe Chapel, we aspire to cultivate a culture that celebrates generosity as a central tenet of our faith while we strive to make a real difference for the cause of Christ and his Church.
Generosity extends beyond finances; it is a means of blessing others that goes beyond our checkbook. Of course we want to financially support our mission, but we also want to be generous in our service to the Chapel, generous in volunteering within Big Canoe, generous in supporting our non-profit partners in Pickens and Dawson Counties, and generous with our mission partners around the world. When we care for the needy, offer hope to the hopeless, and engage in service, we join God's great mission of reclaiming the world through love.
Peace,
Dock Hollingsworth
“Besides supporting the Chapel financially with our annual pledge, we find much pleasure and returned blessings when we give of our time and talents as well.”

“Seeing the world through the eyes of those less fortunate reminds me how blessed I am. I want to honor the Lord and be a part of blessing others. Join me in giving.”

"I give because I have been so blessed by the Lord in many ways. Everything good comes from Him and all my assets and talents are His gifts."
