Men's Fellowship: Connection, Growth, and Service

Open to all men in Big Canoe, the Men’s Fellowship is a Christian organization with a clear mission: to foster personal and spiritual growth and mobilize men for humble service to others. We build strong bonds through a variety of ministries and a busy social calendar, including our annual golf tournament, fish fries, and sporting events.

Events: Gathering with Purpose

Our events—from movie nights and retreats to fundraisers—are opportunities to connect. You will grow in faith and learn through our incredible guest speakers’ breakfasts and deepen friendships throughout the year.

Charitable Giving & Mission

Our popular annual golf tournament is our largest fundraiser, supporting our commitment to renew our mission commitment locally and globally (Goal 3). We hold various fundraising events throughout the year, including legendary cookouts where we always welcome new chefs to man the grill in service to others.

Sponsorship

Men's Sponsorship

Home Repair and Widows Assistance: Assistance includes men who are incapacitated or their widows who need assistance with essential home maintenance or repair. This includes wheelchair ramps, installing grab bars in bathrooms, replacing rotten wood or windows-doors, replacing light bulbs, installing fans, and repairing decks/walkways.

The Men's Ministry devotes $10,000 to $15,000 per year to this ministry.

Men to Men Ministry: The Men's Fellowship sponsors a team of 12 to 16 men who, on a rotating basis in teams of two, identify and respond in a thoughtful, compassionate, Christ like manner to men in the community who are suffering with physical or emotional needs. This includes men recovering from illness or surgery, men grieving loss of a spouse, or simply men who are isolated and lonely. The visiting teams of two often present small gifts of food or invite them for coffee or lunch. Men's Fellowship devotes several thousand dollars each year to this ministry.
