For many years, the Women’s Fellowship Outreach Committee has offered the opportunity to its members and friends to volunteer at PruittHealth Nursing Home in Jasper. This committee plans events to help make the shut ins at Pruitt feel special and valued on their birthday and other significant times of the year. Each month, birthdays for that month are celebrated with balloons, cookies, cupcakes, and cards making sure these lovely residents know they are not forgotten. In addition, special holidays such as Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are celebrated in style with parties, complete with decorations and treats. The residents and staff are always so grateful, but the volunteers are blessed as well by spending time with these incredible people.
