The faith-based mission of the Community Thrift Store is to “serve members of our community who find themselves in need of essential goods and basic life-enhancing services.” Women’s Fellowship provides volunteers to do a variety of jobs. No experience is necessary! There is a place for everyone! Some of the volunteer opportunities include sorting donations into the various departments, processing (items are sorted, priced and moved to the sales floor), cashiers/baggers who assist customers checking out with their purchases, customer service (greet and welcome customers and answer the phone), and special volunteer needs (eBay representative/fund raising). This is an amazing Outreach opportunity to help residents of Jasper and the surrounding area. Shifts are 10 am to 2 pm and volunteers can work any day of the month.
