The mission of Cheryls Place is to provide short-term housing assistance, job skills training, and life skills training to homeless families with children, so that they may be housed in a stable environment and have the time and chance to become self-sufficient.

What Can I Do? 

• Pray - We come before you with gratitude for the shelter and safety many of us experience daily. Today, we lift up in prayer the families who are facing the fear and uncertainty of homelessness. We ask for your divine intervention and support for those who lack a stable place to call home.

  Please, provide these families with the means to secure safe and comfortable shelter. Grant them the support networks, resources, and opportunities needed to regain stability and rebuild their lives. May they find strength, resilience, and hope in the face of adversity.

  Surround them with compassionate individuals and organizations willing to extend a helping hand and open their hearts to these families in need. May communities come together to offer support, guidance, and encouragement to those experiencing homelessness.

  We ask for your grace and blessings upon these families, that they may find a path toward stability, security, and the comfort of a place to call home.

• GO - We need volunteers who have a passion for preventing families with children from becoming homeless. In particular we could use people with the following skills: Mentoring, Grant writing, Fund raising, Public Relations and Social Media, and Visiting our client families.
