Advent Book Study: Heaven and Earth

As we prepare our hearts for the Christmas season, join us for a four-week Advent Book Study exploring Heaven and Earth by Will Willimon. Through thoughtful reflection and discussion, we'll explore the wonder of a God who chooses to enter our world, meet us where we are, and become part of our everyday lives.

Willimon, a retired United Methodist bishop and Professor of the Practice of Christian Ministry at Duke Divinity School, offers a compelling perspective on the meaning of Advent:

"What we need is a God who refuses to be trapped in eternity, a Creator who is not aloof from our time. We need a God who not only cares about us but is willing to show up among us and do something with us, here, now."

Attendees are asked to purchase their own copy of Heaven and Earth by Will Willimon.

Join us as we reflect on the hope, promise, and extraordinary gift of God's presence among us this Advent season.
