Join us as we welcome our guest speaker, author Terri Decker, on May 7, 1 pm to 3 pm in the Chapel's Cousins Hall. There is no cost for this event, but please register your attendance online April 15 through May 5.
Terri, a Big Canoe resident, is the author of Adoption Constellation, her memoir of being adopted and adopting a child. In this candid memoir, Terri addresses the complicated issues of adoption. She draws from her experience as one of five adopted children as well as her experiences as a biological and adoptive mother. She beautifully yet painfully explains what it is like for the adopted child and for the family adopting a child. Terri is a certified yoga instructor with training in the expressive arts. She experiments with a variety of artistic mediums, including writing, photography, silk dying, and acrylic pour painting. She loves being in nature, gardening, and spending time with their six beloved grandchildren. Please direct questions to Becky Griffith or Cheri Pogeler at WomensFellowship@bigcanoechapel.org.
