SENDING HELP TO THOSE IN NEED

Hurricanes have devastated the Southern USA and Caribbean over the last several months.  Generous people of the Chapel and the Big Canoe community have asked how they might most effectively contribute to the relief of people in the areas impacted.

Of course, everyone has the option to contribute directly to the relief organization of their choice at all times.

For those who wish their relief contributions routed through the Chapel, the Chapel has chosen Samaritan’s Purse as the relief agency to partner with for disaster relief.  The reasons for choosing Samaritan’s Purse are the fact that it does all its relief work in the name of our Lord Jesus, it has achieved amazing results with more than 95% of the contributions received reaching those in need, and it works in disaster relief all over the world.

Sending all disaster relief contributions through Samaritan’s Purse will also simplify record keeping and expedite getting the contributions where needed faster.   Future contributions marked as “Disaster Relief” will be funneled through Samaritan’s Purse and the contributing person will receive a personalized letter or tax statement showing the contribution.

Thank you for your caring hearts and generosity to those in need.
