Cindy Williams has been a resident of Pickens County for 16 years and resides in Bent Tree with her husband, Marc Williams and her fur babies, Luna, Georgia, and Doodlebug. Cindy’s interest in being involved in the community started as soon as she became a resident and she undertook the training and worked as a volunteer CASA for 8 years. As a CASA volunteer, Cindy advocated for children in the foster care system and was their voice in the court proceedings and community meetings. She is now on the board of North Georgia Family Partners (formerly Prevent Child Abuse Pickens). Marc, who is the current president of the North Georgia Family Partners and a Jasper Police Officer also shares Cindy’s passion for helping families and children.
In addition to her church and community involvement, Cindy is employed full-time as VP of sales for Global Design and Supply in Snellville, Ga. She and Marc have one daughter, Candice, who lives in Jasper and one grandson, DJ who studies and plays football at Shorter University in Rome, Ga.
