The 29th Anniversary of the Broyles Mission Conference
Two evenings and two mornings (February 21-24, 2019) of
Chapel outreach to improve lives here at home and around the world
Since the beginning of the Broyles Mission Conferences back in 1970, we’ve supported well over 140 organizations in more than 25 countries with funding of over $1,000,000 – including over 40 organizations in Dawson and Pickens counties. The leaders of the Boyles Mission Conference wish to thank everyone that was involved in the 2019 conference. This year’s conference featured the great works of two local and two international non-profit organizations that are creating bridges from despair to hope. The conference attendees were moved by the presentations from the leaders of Appalachian Children’s Center, Mission: Hope, No Longer Bound, and Help the Persecuted. We also want to thank the Lee Chorale from Lee University, Cleveland, TN, for blessing us with their wonderful music. Please consider a pledge to this year’s conference to help continue the missional work of these organizations.
Appalachian Children’s Center is dedicated to intervention, treatment, and prevention of all types of child maltreatment, including physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. Located in Ellijay, the center serves Pickens, Gilmer, and Fannin counties. [website]
No Longer Bound is a 12-month residential program to rescue addicts, regenerate men and reconcile families. The process focuses on resolving relational wounds, repairing broken belief systems and restoring health through lasting intimacy with God, self, and others. [website]
Mission: Hope is equipping leaders and churches to bring about sustainable change in difficult-to-reach villages around the world. Programs are tailored to meet the needs of each individual community and are all based on Christian values. [website]
Help The Persecuted serves thousands of Christians throughout the Middle East and North Africa – one of the earth’s most dangerous regions to be a Christian. The organization provides real-time holistic support from spiritual needs, to safe housing, to pastoral care. [website]
We encourage donations to the 29th Annual Broyles Mission Conference. All funds collected, after a small amount of conference expenses are covered, are divided among the four highlighted non-profit organizations. Our 2019 conference pledge goal is $85,000.
