All women in Big Canoe are invited to attend the Guild's monthly meetings and take part in the many outreach activities serving others here in our community, as well as our neighbors in Pickens and Dawson Counties.
The purpose of the Women's Guild is to bring together all women of the Big Canoe Community, to encourage Christian fellowship, to understand God’s will for our lives through Bible study, and to promote activities that benefit the Chapel and our surrounding areas.
Monthly Guild Meetings
Meet with friends and neighbors to enjoy interesting speakers and programs on a variety of topics that reflect the year’s theme. Annual events include the Fall Retreat and the Christmas program, luncheon, and home tour. The first meeting for the new year is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the Broyles Center on Thursday, September 10.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study The Guild's Bible Study is a special "place" where we not only study the Bible, but visit, encourage, and pray for each other. All women of Big Canoe and their friends are invited, regardless of background or denomination—from seeker to scholar. Bible Study meets on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in McCormick Hall of the Broyles Community Center. The first meeting for the new year begins the third Wednesday in September. Annual Fall Retreat The fall retreat is the Guild’s second meeting of the year and one not to be missed!
