Casseroles to Go was first introduced last fall and was so successful it not only returns this year, but it is expected double the number of casseroles that will be offered for sale! Last year’s favorite was the shrimp/pasta casserole and the ladies are testing a different shrimp recipe for this year. Another favorite was the sausage muffin which may make an appearance again this year.
Starting on September 17 at Chapel Stand Around, and continuing through mid-October, the Casseroles to Go Committee headed by Jean Mosshart will be signing up cooks to create hearty dishes. Cooks will be given the recipe, the casserole container, and instructions for freezing and delivering casseroles to the Big Canoe Chapel for sale on November 12. Casseroles will also be sold before and after the POA annual meeting at the Big Canoe Chapel on December 2.

Divine Chicken Divan
Oven Baked Jambalaya
Creamy Alfredo Shrimp Pasta
Also to be sold are packages of 12 Sausage Muffins
